The Magictones: Athens Georgia's Premier Wedding and Party Band

The Magictones were so spectacular! You were really the only band that could have/would have pulled off the crazy antics that we had planned, and you did an outstanding job of it. So many of our guests were going on about how the music was so cool and perfect and different and fun. And how much you guys ROCK! We were so happy with everything that it was practically all we talked about during the honeymoon. We would hear a song in a restaurant or something and say, "OH! Remember when they played that? That was so AWESOME!" We would also be happy to be a telephone reference if you ever need it. Thanks for helping make our wacky, fun reception plan even better than we imagined.

It was a total pleasure working with you and Classic City Entertainment for our wedding reception music. Every detail, from fine-tuning the contract and song lists to your accommodation of special music requests, was professional, accommodating, and friendly. The Magictones were perfect for our cocktail hour and the reception, and we had a great time. Our guests noticed and gave them the highest compliments. I would simply like to say that The Magictones were superb at our wedding. As a professional musician myself I expected a lot. They not only delivered, they surpassed our expectations. I am not exaggerating when I say that nearly ALL of our guests told me how wonderful the Magictones were. People from 9 to 94 spent the night dancing and having a great time. It is really something to hear a band that can flow from Sly and the Family Stone into Frank Sinatra into the Bee Gees and land in a perfectly joyous Mills Brothers tune. We are forever grateful for their professional and wonderful performance on our wedding day.

I wanted to thank you for helping to make our party on August 7th a success. When I initially contacted Classic City Entertainment regarding the party, they did a great job of asking questions about the party and working with me to understand the best fit for my entertainment needs. They also did a great job of staying in touch between the time I booked the event and the party.

When my wife, Stacy, and I set a date for our wedding, we called Dave Domizi at Classic City Entertainment to find a band to play at our reception. Dave was informative, professional, and easy to work with. After hearing us describe what we were looking for, he recommended a great band called The Magictones. The Magictones were fun and professional at the reception. The music was great, and they were really versatile. Both the older and younger crowds were happy because the band played easy going music for the early cocktail and dinner hours, and more danceable, party oriented songs as it got later in the night. They were just what we had hoped for. We liked them so much that we recommended the band to some other friends when they got married.

We are writing this letter because we want to publicly express our gratitude to Dave and the Magictones for the brilliant job they did at our wedding. At that time, a lot of our friends were getting married. We attended numerous receptions, and we couldn't help but notice that many of them felt the same. Regardless of the city, the wedding DJ's played the same songs, talked in the same tones, and said the same things. A lot of these weddings started running together in our minds. We wanted our wedding to be special and memorable for us, and our friends and families.

Dave did a wonderful job in helping us achieve our wishes, and The Magictones did an amazing job at setting the tone for our reception. They had everyone, from our little nieces and nephews to our grandparents, dancing and having a blast! I just want to thank you all for making our wedding and reception just perfect for us. From the pianist playing "Ripple" in the pre-wedding music by the creek, to the hula-hooping to "Hey Bulldog"... we couldn't have made a better choice of wonderful musicians.
